Currently, the pace of industrial clustering in the Shizhu Industrial Park continues to accelerate, with the number of companies setting up operations there steadily increasing, leading to a shortage of standardized factory space in the park. The local industrial park is stepping up construction efforts and plans to have an additional 100,000 square meters of standardized factory space ready for use in June to address the shortage of production facilities for new businesses.
Relying on business-to-business investment promotion and overseas delegation-based investment promotion models, the park has formed five specialized investment promotion teams to conduct on-site investment promotion in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Guangdong, Guangxi, and Fujian. Through on-site visits and community outreach, the teams have engaged with high-quality manufacturing enterprises. Throughout the year, they have approached nearly 100 prospective investors, and 47 companies have already finalized their intentions to establish operations here. High-quality manufacturing enterprises such as Zhongsheng Pump & Valve have confirmed their move into the park. Leveraging Shizhu’s cost advantages in labor and factory rent, companies establishing operations here can significantly reduce production and operational expenses, as labor and facility rental costs are far lower than in coastal cities.
Based in the Shizhu Industrial Park,Heigu Tianfu (Chongqing) Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd.... is a representative enterprise of the industrial park’s coordinated industrial chain development. The company signed a lease agreement to move into the park in April of that year, renting a 3,240-square-meter production facility. Even during the facility’s renovation phase, it successfully secured orders from Thailand, Malaysia, and various locations in Guangdong Province, with a total order value of 7 million yuan. Constrained by delivery deadlines, the company accelerated the renovation of its production facility while simultaneously relocating production equipment from other regions, deploying experienced technical personnel, and recruiting local employees for on-site pre-employment training. Working in coordination with upstream and downstream suppliers within the industrial park, the company secured early access to components such as valves, instruments, and fasteners to ensure production could commence on schedule.
The company specializes in pharmaceutical and food industry equipment, including Chinese herbal medicine extraction tanks, essential oil extraction equipment, and complete extraction and concentration systems. Once the project reaches full production capacity, its annual output value is expected to reach tens of millions of yuan. After production begins, it will also generate annual procurement orders worth several million yuan for local pump and valve suppliers in the industrial park, helping to enhance the Shizhu equipment manufacturing industry chain and accelerate the development of the industrial cluster.
To address the shortage of factory space, more than 400 construction workers in the park are working in different sections to accelerate construction. In Zones B and C, civil engineering, electrical and plumbing, fire protection, and flooring work are proceeding simultaneously. Once the 100,000-square-meter new factory buildings become operational in June, the park will continue to accommodate more manufacturing enterprises as they begin production, thereby strengthening the foundation for the park’s industrial development.
