I. Product Introduction

The microporous membrane cartridge filter uses a pleated microporous membrane filter element housed in a stainless steel cylinder. It provides absolute filtration (0.1–5 μm) for liquids or gases and is the preferred final filtration device for high-demand processes such as water for injection, large-volume parenteral solutions, and biopharmaceuticals.

II. How It Works

The feed solution enters from the outside of the filter cartridge, passes through the filter membrane (pore size 0.1–5 μm), and enters the center tube of the filter cartridge, while particles and bacteria are retained on the surface or within the filter membrane (absolute filtration). The filter cartridge undergoes integrity testing (bubble point, diffusion flow) to ensure it meets sterile filtration standards.
